We are excited to announce that world renowned social activist and humanitarian, Dr. Vandana Shiva will be visiting Wolfville on February 24, 2012. She will be attending the Valley Sustainability Showcase at the Wolfville Farmers Market from 2:30-5:00. Dr. Shiva is a truly inspirational speaker and she will also be holding a public lecture entitled “The Future of Our Food” at the Horton Performance Center at 7pm, Friday February 24^th. Tickets are available at The Box of Delights. The cost is $25 for adults, $5 for students, with all proceeds going to Dr.Shiva’s foundation, Navdanya (www.navdanya.org).
