Join us for our rainbow celebration & community dinner!  The Market will be awash in a rainbow of colour - with decorations and information about supports and services for our LGBTIQ community.  Many vendors will be offering rainbow-inspired food and products and with your Market Supper you get a complimentary serving of bread and Rainbow Salad.   There will also be collectible Market Rainbow Pride Buttons, Donna Holmes performing live, Natalie Meisner reading from Double Pregnant, Mike Butler performing a monologue and a belly dancing performance by members of the Sister Lotus Belly Dance Troupe.

The Wolfville Farmers’ Market invites you to its annual Tastes of the Valley event at it’s permanent year-round space in the DeWolfe Building. Tastes of the Valley is a culinary celebration of fresh local food where Valley chefs use Valley-farmed ingredients to make $3 taste concoctions to tantalize your taste buds. Get tickets, menus and event maps at the entrance and cast your vote for your favourite taste to win $100 towards a meal from your favourite chef. Come Hungry!

Its Farmers’ Market Week in Nova Scotia and to celebrate, the Wolfville Farmers’ Market is having a Sustainability Fair.   Learn about sustainability initiatives and innovations being cultivated, discovered and used in the Valley. Come for your Market Supper and learn what practices and tools you can use to make sustainable lifestyle choices on your land, in your life and in your home through the speakers series and through meeting and talking with people in over ten organizations.  There will be a ticket draw for prizes, a farm animal petting area outside the Market, $1 off Market Bags and lots of sustainable groceries and hand-made gifts thanks to 30 awesome vendors!

Kick off the Nova Scotia Fall Wine Festival at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market in celebration of the Annapolis Valley’s burgeoning wine scene. Join us for your one-stop Valley wine experience with regional wineries from the Annapolis Valley sampling wine and offering a wide variety of bottled wine for purchase. Meet the winemakers and join a local sommelier  who will present a guided sampling of selected wines from the region. Enjoy a Valley Vineyards Food Pairing Plate ($3) with delectable flavours to  savour with your wine samples.
