Its Farmers’ Market Week in Nova Scotia and to celebrate, the Wolfville Farmers’ Market is having a Sustainability Fair.   Learn about sustainability initiatives and innovations being cultivated, discovered and used in the Valley. Come for your Market Supper and learn what practices and tools you can use to make sustainable lifestyle choices on your land, in your life and in your home through the speakers series and through meeting and talking with people in over ten organizations.  There will be a ticket draw for prizes, a farm animal petting area outside the Market, $1 off Market Bags and lots of sustainable groceries and hand-made gifts thanks to 30 awesome vendors!

Kick off the Nova Scotia Fall Wine Festival at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market in celebration of the Annapolis Valley’s burgeoning wine scene. Join us for your one-stop Valley wine experience with regional wineries from the Annapolis Valley sampling wine and offering a wide variety of bottled wine for purchase. Meet the winemakers and join a local sommelier  who will present a guided sampling of selected wines from the region. Enjoy a Valley Vineyards Food Pairing Plate ($3) with delectable flavours to  savour with your wine samples.

Join us as the Wolfville Farmers' Market partners with the Devour! Food and Film Festival for a Devour! Cinema Brunch at the Market. Vendors have added a delectable dish to their Menus inspired by their favourite films. Be sure to try out the many flavours inspired by cinematic favourites.


Sat December 6, 8:30 am - 1 pm

You will have a chance to win your Christmas wish list while supporting the Wolfville Food Bank. That’s right, Get Un-Scrooged is back once again! The cast of Wolfville's Gravely Ghost Walks will be roaming the Market, selling ballots for $5 (all proceeds go to the Wolfville Area Food Bank). Fill out your ballot by indicating up to 15 participating vendors that you’d like to win gifts from. A ballot will be drawn at 10am on Saturday (December 14th), and the winner will win their entire wish list! You could win up to $400 in fantastic Market gifts while helping out local families who rely on the Food Bank throughout the year.

The Wolfville Farmers’ Market hosts it’s annual Yuletide Market to celebrate the spirit of the tradition where families and friends gather for a warm and cheery celebration. Children are welcome to create a Yule log and everyone can try a delectable piece of celebratory Yule log cake. This holiday season, keep your gift dollars in the community and support local artisans, farmers and food producers.
